Brookside Woolen Mill |

| In the summer of 2005, we purchased the old
Baron Woolen Mill out of Brigham City Utah. It is a two card mill
that was used to make blankets from the late 1800s into the twenty
first century. We moved about 400 tons of machinery home to Malta
Montana and started to set it up. After the sale of the ranch in
2008, the process of refitting the machinery was taken on full time.
In 2009 Brookside Woolen Mill begin constructions on a new green
building to house the processing machinery and Montana Green
Insulation was born. The mill is incorporating the latest in water
recycling technology, and green heat production and green cooling
systems.
We are really excited about being able to provide a green building product made in the USA and using all US products. |
